The number of rounds can be determined by selecting from one up to three rounds. The arcade mode contains 9 stages, which has 6 difficulty levels, which is very easy, easy, medium, hard, very hard and ultra hard. Some stories may be indirectly related to the main story, however, some may not be correlated. This mode has side stories of some characters from the Tekken universe. Like Tekken 7, Tekken 8's story mode focus on the events after Kazuya defeats his final opponent, Akuma. Game modes Story Mode (The Mishima Saga 2) Main story Rage Arts can be used again by filling up the bar. Unlike Tekken 7, each character has 2 rage arts in Tekken 8. Rage drive also returns in this entry. Once your rage bar is full, you can deal your rage art. However, in Tekken 8, rage can be filled up if you deal damage and receive enough damage from your opponent. In Tekken 7, rage can only be activated if your health is too low and you can't return your rage after you use your rage art or rage drive. Tekken retains it's predecessor's mechanics, with every battle is 1 vs 1, except in the Tag Team mode, you have to battle 2 vs 2.
